  A member of the Academic Division, I worked directly with the executive leadership team to advance curriculum while supporting the department through a time of transition and growth.

• Head of School at The Covenant School of Dallas

  February 2007 - December 2013

  Led private, college preparatory K-12 day school with faculty of 70, administration of 12 and $6 million annual budget. As head helped enrollment more than double to 500+ students while solidifying the school's financial health. Simultaneously drove multiple continuous improvement efforts from efficient and sustainable organizational alignments and committee structures to academic programs and budgeting and facilities to strategic plans, vision statements and performance review procedures. Worked purposefully and collaboratively with an active parent board of directors and committee system (Admissions, Curriculum, Development, Finance).   Under the CEO and Chief Educational Architect, I oversee the Academic Division of the largest charter school network in Texas, Responsive Education Solutions, with a current enrollment of 20,000 students. A quickly expanding non-profit organization with a $120 million annual budget and 70 public charter schools in Texas and Arkansas, ResponsiveEd offers multiple models of small by design open enrollment public charter schools catering to a diversity of learning styles, student populations and educational environments. Schools include: Founders Classical Academies, Vista Elementary Schools, Quest Middle Schools, iSchool (Early College & STEM) and Premier High Schools. As Vice President of Academics, I help drive improvements in curricular content, academic quality and organizational process while managing more than a dozen Regional Directors of Academics who oversee the academic aspects of all schools from campus leadership to student achievement.
